We the Tea Party could best be described as the parents trying to get their kids in line. Let me give you an example from my past.

As a child I went into my mothers purse and stole $20.00 (yes I stole), I went to the store and bought as much candy from the store as I could and was just as pleased with myself as could be. When I got home I was in for a big surprise, mom took all the candy from me and gave it to everyone else. I was then strongly disciplined and explained how I had taken money that was for the groceries (basically I took food out of the mouth of my family), and that is the start of understanding that taking money from one person to give to another only hurts the first person.

We the Tea Party have to step in as the parents for our Government, we see they have taken our money and are spending it on things that help no one.

We the Tea Party members are here to give the verbal spanking that is needed; government is spoiled and now has to be taught a lesson. For years there hasn’t been much in the way of discipline, most of that is because people have steadily been given things by government without the slightest thought to the fact that higher taxes on anything is taking the food out of the mouths of families like mine.

Tax corporation and I have to pay more, fees paid by business’s and I have to pay more, higher taxes on the rich and my boss can’t pay me more (so much for that pay raise), tax me more and I of course will not be able to afford more for my government.

I wish I could teach that same lesson I learned as a kid to everyone in office, taking from one to give to another is taking money that is not yours. It is also time to send the big spenders to their room (home) that will teach them a lesson.

What next

I read the Chronicles description of the Tea Party (16 Jan 2010) and noticed that they missed the reason for people being there. The 1,200 to 1,500 people did come to hear people like Marco Rubio and I speak, yet it was not because Rubio was running as much as the fact that people are stepping up to say what is going on in Washington is wrong and we are speaking out against it. It also is about people coming up with an answer of how to fix it. During my speech I brought up Term Limits, this was the loudest applause that I got. I have no doubt that the reason for this is that the people of America do not trust their government and are starting to say that regardless of party we need a fix, that more spending is not the answer. The people want those who in the past, have gotten us into it this situation need to get out of the way. We want someone to come in and fix it, someone who is not there for themselves.

The second biggest applause that I got was for the strong emphasis on the Fair Tax, people simply want a tax system that doesn’t punish success or give away their hard earned money to those who mooch.

We are glad that the people running for office came to speak but the media and all politicians need to know that the truth is that we want our freedom and our money to stay the same way that it was meant to be when the founders established this country.

The next fact that was missed was those in the tea party need to get out into the crowd and talk to the people, which is what I did. I found out that, people want to be more organized and get better educated. The Tea Party needs to make plans for what’s next; even if we get our people in office can we fix it. That is what we who spoke at the Tea Party need to answer! What next?

Support a Conservative, support Rubio

The Associated press article says, “Obama talks jobs in Ohio” and my guess is that he is now talking jobs because of the fact that those like the Tea Party movement and other like the 9/12 project have driven home the message. That we are not happy with our government and how it is over taxing us in both dollars and the way it is creeping into our lives.

You see this was not Sen. Elect Brown sending a message and it was not just those of us in the Republican Party, it was with out doubt the people who understand that we can not expect more government spending to get us out of this economic down turn.

The President is a great orator, yet he is tone deaf to the people and sits in his group of liberal elitist who dictate what we the people should do to make everything better. If we the flyover, country bumpkin, Pick up truck driving, menial labor doing people would just do things like them then the world would be better.

The president ran on the fact that he was going to come in and fix things yet the only thing he did was push forward the agenda of the elitist, with social program after social program. The President would be un-touchable if he would have come in and actually worked on fixing the economy instead of saying that everything was a priority or claiming that more spending would fix it. The movement behind Sen. elect Brown is going to determine the 2010 elections, we will get the message through. The problem that I foresee is that we may end up with some of the same thing we have always had, people who will say anything to get elected and then go to Washington to be part of the same old problem. Crist is a Republican and I am glad to have him in the party, yet I feel that Marco Rubio is a Conservative Republican who understands that less government is more people. That is why I support Marco Rubio for Senate.

Tea Party a success

The Citrus County Tea Party was a resounding success, it got grass roots individuals out front and allowed by applause and a few less then positive responses let people know that they are not willing to put up with how things are. it was once again a very polite group but it also was so evadent it is time for answers, not just platitued or pandering. We need to start that next step of where to go, this Tea Party is slowly coming to it's end and the people are looking for what is next.

A bad shift.

The war has begun to shift from America being hated because we are standing up for ourselves while actually being proactive in killing or defeating the Terrorist around the world. To one of being scoffed at for our apologetic attitude and losing the war by turning the war into a law enforcement problem.

You see the CIA has in the past, been neutered by people in the Democratic Party who wanted us to not deal with criminals and recently by taking actions against our own agents because they interrogated enemy combatants (who by law could have been shot on the spot).

People are complaining that there has been a major error in not catching the Christmas bomber, the failure is being laid at the feet of the intelligence services as a way to detract from the truth. The truth is that we have chosen a president that doesn’t see the war on radical Islamic terrorist as what it is, a global war of domination in the name of a religion.

Instead he sees it as an image problem and one in which we can sit with our friends and talk the situation over, many thought that after the president went on Al Jazera and to the middle east we would see less of an effort to attack and kill Americans (boy were we wrong).

After 9/11 and the decision to actually fight the war as a war and as a covert action was made and in that people realized that we seriously lacked in the fields of human intelligence around the world.

The CIA made a huge push to get people on staff that are highly educated (college is a must), and young. They now have the problem of these young, inexperienced groups of people, agents that are pushed to have results in numbers not in quality. The field officers are station chiefs at each and every embassy, it is guaranteed that one of them were in the room when this Christmas bombers.

But because of our president’s attitude, do you think that there was a great amount of drive to get this information where it needed; instead it was most likely just getting the information in a already overloaded system.

Not only was the system overloaded with info but could you imagine that the person dealing with this guys father actually making a push to get him (the bomber) picked up by the feds and then find out that the father was wrong?

Because of his lack of experience and the president’s attitude his life as a CIA agent would be over, he would have been sent packing and worse yet he would have been called a Republican.

We need to get back to fighting the war on terror, focus on the DOD model of action and quality over quantity. Stand behind our men in the intelligence services and maybe just maybe we still have a chance to do a Patraeus / McCrystal surge to victory.

No is the way to say YES

NO! NO! NO! As a parent that is the most common thing I say as a way to show my love and concern for my kids. No to Drugs, no to Drinking and Driving, basically no to foolish habits like those and even frivolous spending all of which will cause them to have a bad life. The Republicans have been called the party of No and the truth is I am ok with that, because I love my country and just like I do my kids it is time to tell our politicians NO!

No is actually the way to say YES to a better future for our children and also to help our country recover. I as the parent am not here to be my kid’s friend, it is my responsibility to be the parent and teach the difference between right and wrong. I am not here to be my elected officials’ friend; politicians have become like spoiled kids and have no clue what the word no is. It has become our job to be the parent in this situation and to teach them the lesson of right and wrong by telling those in elected office NO!

We have an electorate that is like your average teenager who will tell his or her parents how to do everything as if they are smarter than the parents.

Like a parents biggest fear of their kids getting hooked on drugs and alcohol. Our politicians are high on power and drunk with spending and have formed the bad habits of ignoring the will of the people (their parents). We need to talk to our politicians and tell them (possibly in the same way we speak to our children) that over spending is bad for you and will make everyone’s life harder.

The media has made it sound like saying no is the only thing that the conservative movement is doing. For the media who is a propaganda machine for this President, the first thing we conservatives do is say no. No to big spending increases, no to the take over of the economy by the government and no the encroachment of the government into every aspect of our daily lives. Put a stop to the deeper corruption of our government by saying no, only after the politicians learn that lesson can we say “YES”, yes to real answers that will solve this situation. And if not then we need to look to the 2010 elections and say no to those who can’t understand the destruction they are doing. Hopefully a politician will read this and say “how repetitive”, because if they do then my job is done. It is repetition that I use to drill the point home for my kids. NO! NO! NO!

The future of Christmas?

Because of new climate and environmental laws, there will be no Christmas this year.

It seems one Kris Kringle, a.k.a Santa Claus, has been grounded due to advocating genocide and violation of carbon standards.

It seems that our government apprehended Santa at his North Pole residence.

The charges against him claim that Santa has inspired families to buy or cut down Christmas trees, with the sole purpose of putting presents under them.

Although, the government does admit that the holiday known as Christmas did temporarily prevent the use of the chimney, thereby saving many trees (this is the main entrance for Santa on Christmas Eve).

The overall effect is mitigated by the millions of trees killed, decorated and disposed of each year.

The government commented that Santa is a co-conspirator and that a warrant has been issued for one Jesus of Nazareth (the reason for the season). It is stated that this other wanted person apparently left town some time ago [whereabouts unknown] with no idea of when he might return.

Sources further claim that Santa has not hired a lawyer yet, but during processing at a federal prison, Santa was found to have a bag of coal. This didn't bother the federal agents till it was found that the names of all elected officials in government were on each piece of coal.

Failing to prove invasion of privacy by St. Nick, the feds charged him with violation of pollution standards for improperly storing the coal in violation of E.P.A. standards.

Prosecutors were said to be trying to work a deal, suggesting that if Santa could help with the passing of healthcare reform for the President, the charges could be dropped.

Sources are reported to say that the only response was HO, HO, HELL NO!

What would Suess say about taxes

Tax, tax, tax.

Oh the taxes we will pay,

work all day and save all night because of the taxes you will pay.

Go to work to your job, oh the taxes you do pay.

Own a car, fill it up,

and speed up the taxes you do pay.

Buying food at the store, on your plate you'll be taxed some more.

Have a phone and you will see that ringing tone is taxing you and me.

Taxed to pay for things we need, taxes to pay for their political greed.

Taxed all morning and through the day, Taxed Enough Already is what we say.

Government should spend less instead of taxing more; can’t politicians stop acting like a fiscal whore?

All the money you could ever spend, tax, tax, and taxed again.

Will this spending never end, one way to stop it is with a friend.

Start at the rallies, together you must go.

To stop the tax and the spending show, our voices louder as the crowds do show.

President Obama don't you know, the conservative movement steadily grows.

What to do and where to go, to the poles don't you know.

Back to being a republic we must fly, so our country doesn't wither and die.

We need a real Robin Hood

Everyone knows the tale of Robin Hood and how he stole from the rich and gave to the poor, but what would you say if I told you that the premise of the story is not true? Fact is, he and his merry men risked all to steal from the government (the king) and gave back to the tax payers (the poor). He had many rich friends, like Maid Marian, from whom he never stole. It was always the Sheriff of Nottingham and the lords who profited from the taxes that he would ambush in the woods. Robin never went to the merchants and took from them, because they, like the average citizen, were overly taxed. His sole focus was the sheriff and the other lords who went around “raping” the people of all that they had earned. I point this out because in our modern day we have President Obama who came into office like Errol Flynn swinging in with all the flair of the hero in the classic black and white film. He stood there with a smile saying, “I am going to take from the rich and give to the poor,” and people ate it up in heaps because of the fear stirred up by the media.

But now we have regrets, because we are further in debt and have even more unemployment than predicted. By electing Obama, people didn’t get Robin Hood, instead they got the Sheriff of Nottingham. And instead of robbing from the rich, he is imposing more taxes, including increased taxes on your bosses along with other planned taxes that will prevent businesses from hiring or expanding. We will soon have higher healthcare premiums as well. All of this makes the other lords (Pelosi, Reed, Frank) happy.

What we need is a modern day Robin Hood (regardless of party) who will take back from the government what it has wrongfully taken (through over taxation) from the tax payers and who, instead of using the sword, will use answers and reason to fight an increasingly oppressive federal government. Our modern day Robin would push to end an entitlement society that allows people to steal the hard earned dollars from you and me and puts into effect an incentive policy that makes people want to work—instead of sitting at home living off of Social Security disability or welfare. [You know them. They are the ones you heard talking about how to get on the welfare rolls even though they are fully capable of working.] Our Robin would know that the answer to helping everyone includes implementing a Fair Tax (which makes us more competitive on the world markets), term limits (to prevent the problem of life-long members), tort reform (which would include the end to the class action suits), smaller government (get rid of redundancy) and the implementation of laws that encourage the medical system to fix the problems and provide what doctors and patients want.

I would like people to know that I am being general about people on welfare, Social Security disability and other programs—but the system is rife with people who are able to work, yet choose to take the easy route in life that requires little more than to show up for the check and keep complaining about medical problems.

Robin Hood took from the government and gave back to the tax payers, because he knew that what was rightfully theirs should not be taken away in order for those in government to just continue to increase their influence. A Robin Hood like this is what I would call a real hero. The question is: where is he and would anyone actually support him besides me?

Obama, Not so funny.

Is President Obama following the examples of Rufus T. Firefly, the Fictional President of Freedonia (from the Marx brother’s movie Duck Soup)?

Swept into office by ardent supporters who had a blind faith in his ability, he has come into office making rules that make no sense and he doesn't plan on following.

And as he talked fast an assured, he blinded everyone till they realized what he had said. Now you find it was all just a song and dance.

The problem is that unlike a move or what his Hollywood supporters think, this is reality and not some funny movie where we laugh till the end.

America is in crisis, I know people say it was President Bush's fault and to some extent I agree. The lack of vetoes on run away spending was a major concern; he should have vetoed wasteful spending bills regardless of which party sponsored it.

Yet it is a fact that our current President came in with a funny song and dance routine of how to fix things, when as a straight man he isn't qualified to run a quick mart store.

He has simply been a front man for all the Democrats that were looking for someone who could sell the people of America their policies.

A stimulus bill written by an organization that has an agenda, health bill by a party that thinks it knows better than doctors or patients, and a cap and trade bill that is in support of fraudulent scientist theory.

Our president claimed to be someone who was going to work to fix what was broke in Washington.

Still days go by and you see, not only did he not stop the show he taught everyone a new step that no one can keep up with.

The song and dance routine that Rufus T. Firefly did was funny and as a movie it made fun of politicians.

Obama's song and dance isn't funny and instead of making fun of politicians he laughing at us.

Groucho funny, Obama not so much. Maybe a mustache and cigar will help.

When President Obama came into office people said it was another Camelot, similar to the days of Kennedy. What they got wrong was that it was Camelot, similar to being ruled by a king, where the people are no longer able to have a say in how their country is run. There was a large part of this population that didn’t vote for this President, now that part of this population has no voice. The President talked about a by partisanship unlike that of the previous President yet he gets less votes from the opposition than the previous President.

That doesn’t bother our President because he is now ruling, making decisions about our lives as if he was the king of America. Keeping those who don’t agree with him out of the loop when it comes to making the decisions to guide America and basically ruling in a way that is reminiscent of how people of the revolution saw the king of England.

Having a different standard of how those who are in charge are able to define things, like when it is said that this administration would be the most open and post legislation on the web 5 days prior to a vote. Then not doing it till there is public outcry.

They look at those who would speak out against their policies as an enemy; they claim they (Tea Party Members) are just big corporation when the truth is it is you and I out there as individuals. I guess in the eyes of the President we are the ENEMY. Just like the king of England thought of the citizens of America who disagreed with his policies, do you wonder why there is a revolution brewing at the grassroots. We now stand at the very beginning of what is a revolution of the technological type, we blog and meet and basically share the information on the internet that the President doesn’t want us to know.

I don’t say all hail Obama, I say Oh Hell.

It is time for we the people to revolt against the king.

The Federalist

This organization is to come up with answers, to develop a way for the average American citizen to have a say.

"Who are to be the electors of the federal representatives? Not the rich, more than the poor; not the learned, more than the ignorant; not the haughty heirs of distinguished names, more than the humble sons of obscurity and unpropitious fortune. The electors are to be the great body of the people of the United States."

(James Madison)

This should be the goal of this organization.

This is only the shell of what could be a group or a way for Americans to be involved.

No party, just show up and participate.

The Federalist is an organization of individuals that are not affiliate to any party and by its charter is subordinate to the individual.

This organization is formed in the sense that government should be, of the people, by the people and for the people.

The federalist will come up with the answer (created by the individual) to stop the people from becoming indentured servants and to stop the abuse of entitlements by a sub-society that empowers the few at the punishment of the many.

A basic outline of how this organization would work.

The organization would consist of a president, a vice president, a secretary, a media representative, and a treasurer.

Rules of meeting would follow Roberts’s rules of organization.

Finances would follow the 501-3c rule and would be run in a non-profit format.

Format for meeting.
Call to order.
Pledge.
Prayer (when some one is available if not then a minute of self prayer).
Finance report
Old business, with the review of past subjects drafted as resolution followed by the call to
continue on old groups’
new business.
Organization business
the president ask if there are subjects (topics of interest) that people would like to develop answers for.
Call for answers
reading of answers and the turning over for draft to resolution format
adjournment

if a subject is brought up then that individual will step aside as a rally point, the president then will address all interested parties to join that individual.
If no others join that individual then, that individual will be the sole developer of a prospective answer.
Once that group has been formed, for the time of that meeting will be locked.
If any individual out of that group at some time during the meeting has a thought to add to the subject, that thought must be written anonymously and the vice-president will deliver it to the group for consideration.

Subsequent groups will be formulated in the same fashion. An individual shall only actively participate in one group at a meeting.

Individuals are not required to remain in any one group at following meetings.

At the end of the meeting the groups will bring up any completed answers, those answers will be read allowed.
If a subject is not ready for submission it will be tabled and called forth at the next meeting to be continued.
Answers will be submitted to the secretary to be drafted as a resolution.
The resolution must be submitted for review by any of the original drafters.
The resolution will be brought to the following meeting to be signed by any and all participants who wish to support it and then submitted (being posted on any website the organization might have and sent to all elected officials in both electronic and hard copy).

Madison said it couldn't happen / Politicians are trying to prove him wrong

It started decades ago, we let the elected officials become something that they were never meant to be.

We granted them a status of being something special, now our elected officials are in power and will offer you the constituents almost any program or entitlement you could want if you would just reelect them.

Worse yet they are in a contest to grant more than their opponent come election time, this of course is done with your money.

We have gotten into such an entitlement hole that you can now live cradle to grave all of someone else dollar and just so you know that someone else is you and I.

The other part of this is those who elect these people, you can see in the letters to the editors of your local paper that if you disagree with legislation to have our government give more of your money away, well then you’re just a shrill for some big business.

There was a letter in the citrus county chronicle in which the person made comments of how people who disagree with the Health care reform bill, well we are all just dopes paid by the Insurance companies.

Truth is its just people like you and I speaking out

When our leaders live at a different standard, than you and I, we are obligated as residents of this Republic to make the choice of either stand up and correct it or tolerate it and loose our liberty.

I for one say it starts with the tax dollars and saying mine is mine and moving on to going to events, meetings and if need be forming a movement. We must stop the theft of our successes, because we the people will not tolerate the loss of our liberty, no matter how our politicians try to sell it.

Tired of politicians who pander, what about answer. Here is an example.

The problem with politics is that it gets in the way of our lives, they make laws that not needed or useful. The example is the fight about Gay marriage, this being on one side a fight against people specifically calling the union between man and woman marriage.

The other saying it is bigoted and that two people should be able to be together and have the same rights and be able to share things like work benefits (insurance) with their respective partners.

Here is what I call an easy answer, make a law that says any two individuals living in a mutually supporting relationship under the same house will upon signing a contract of mutual support be granted all or any benefits and rights allowed by those of a man and woman in marriage.

This would allow two elderly people who want to co-exist, be able use the insurance benefits without the requirements of a sexual relationship. By signing this contract it would require the two individuals to live under the same roof like a man and a woman so as to prevent the corruption of the system. Further it should be stated in the law that this contract can’t be cancel without six month notice intent of cancelation.

This is an example of the individual pointing out that we don’t want a wasteful argument as we have had in the past, we want real answers and real solutions. Either that or get out of our government, we don’t have time for politicians who pander.

Letter to the Tea Party

Prior to the invasion of Europe by Allied forces general Eisenhower drafted a letter.

Below is a letter to tea party members and like minded (individuals), in the spirit of the letter to invading forces.

Taxpayers, producers, and businessmen of the United States of America, earlier this spring you came together in a campaign, toward which we have found a need to stop the movement away from a Government of Republican principles.

All though our leaders have claimed to not have heard from you, be assured the world is listening.

The hopes and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere stand with you.

In the company of brave individuals, your brothers-in-arms all across America will bring about the reestablishment of a true republic. Eliminate as much as possible corrupt politicians and re-secure a truly free future.

Your task will not be an easy one, your opponents are well supported, passionate and battle tested.

They will defend themselves with claims of hatred, racism and other detractors from the facts.

Yet this is 2009 and our opponents have shown themselves, the united effort of the Tea Party, the 9/12 projects and others have inflicted damage upon a political machine that drives us towards socialism.

Our rallies, letters, calls, and E-mails have seriously reduced the blind following.

Our love of the individual, our families and our country has given us an overwhelming superiority in ideas and answers.

The tide has turned! The freedom loving individuals are standing together for victory.

I have full confidence in your courage, devotion to freedom and your willingness to right this wrong.

We will accept nothing less than full victory. Let us all beseech the blessing of almighty god upon this great and noble undertaking.

Resolved

Resolved, that is one of the most important terms ever used by our Government and more so the founding fathers.

We see America changing to a country that is being increasingly run by a federal Government, standing in absolute contrast with the constitution as written by our founding fathers.

We as a people must once again resolve to throw off the shackles of oppression, this time from our very own government as warned possible by the signers of our Declaration of Independence.

The American people are now in a state of bearing the weight brought by politicians in the form of taxations.

This over taxation as a way to pay for entitlements is forewarned by our founding fathers “as a way for unworthy candidates to practice with success the vicious arts by which elections are too often carried”.

The American people also find themselves enslaved to a portion of the populous that gladly grants Government more influence over their daily lives, as a way to not have to work to find success in life, liberty or the pursuit of happiness.

These people gladly enter into slavery and drag the rest of us as well, so government will grant them a modicum of a meager life, a small amount of liberty as well as a sense of happiness.

The American people must resolve to return to a Republic that lifts the burden of paying for those who will not stand free of the enslavement of entitlements provided by less than moral politicians who use benevolence as a way to gain power.

The argument of freedom and enslavement has been settled long ago in the history of our blessed country. From the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, Supreme Court decisions and the Civil Rights act.

People have fought physical oppression and enslavement, yet as civilization has given way to the technical age we have found there are still millions of poor and down trodden.

We now recognize this is because of a form of oppression that has not been seen since our Independence, that of taxation without representation. You say we have representation, yet the very representatives we vote for often are just as bad as kings of the past.

We as Americans must resolve to reign in our Government and elected officials at all points.

It is their by resolved that we the people of America having tired of corruption, do require that our elected officials at all levels shall move forward on a constitutional amendment to establish term and age limits.

It is further resolved that the oppression felt by all productive citizens be relieved by the implementation of a consumption tax (fair tax) as already in front of the House and Senate. Finally we the people in the strongest of terms want an end to an entitlement society that tamps the spirit of freedom and enslaves to government, citizens of average standing.

It is their by resolved that all federal entitlement programs be audited for fraud, the punishment for this being a 2 year restriction from authorization to use any entitlements. Further more all federal agencies and organizations in which any entitlements is issued be review annually to determine redundancy and that of any redundancy be rectified by consolidation or elimination.

Defend the Republic

Healthcare reform? Insurance reform? Government control? medical spending (Medicare) will be slashed, yet spending on community entities will have grants. The looters have struck what is a devastating blow to the individual and worse yet to freedom.
Those who loot by reaching into your paycheck (the Democratic led congress) have voted themselves yet more power to reach even deeper then before.
If as an individual you are successful you will directly pay more out of your pocket for health insurance as well as everything else.
If you own a business you will be punished so that your profits will be less what you pay your employees will be less and what you charge will be more.
as an average person of modest means you will pay for our looters in congress' decision, your prices on everything must go up to pay for this bill.
It may only go up penny's here or there but the idea of Ben Franklin's "a penny saved is a penny earned" is now dead at the hands of the health care bill.
The looters have killed Ben Franklin sound and timeless advice, just like his claim that we had a Republic for as long as we could keep it.
We now are about to get what our founding fathers feared, a true Democracy in which the mob rules.

Public option Government theft.

If you support a “public option” and want the Government to fix the medical system, then you have to admit that your ok with higher taxes.

Sure if your poor you assume that this increase in taxes will just be on the rich. Eventually you will pay more at the cash register (just pennies but it will be more), of course then it will be to late.

If you support this and your rich then in the bigger picture you will not be as hurt as bad because you probably own a business and will simply transfer the cost to your customers.

Last if your middle class like myself you will be hurt the most, you probably have insurance and will have to pay more for it and if not you’ll pay some kind of penalty. Next your pocket will be picket because you probably spend more at the store then the poor and in this category you are less care about than the average citizen because you might vote but you probably won’t make noise about the change.

Of all three groups those who think that universal healthcare is ok (the use of tax money to pay for healthcare) then I have a question.

Which one of you are willing to pay for someone else up front?

If you think it’s ok to reach into my pocket to take my money, why not just go to an area where the homeless congregate and make this offer.

Offer to take them to your doctor and pay for it out of your pocket directly.

What no takers?

That is normal, people don’t want to pay for it themselves they want someone else to pay for it in the form of the government taking it from me by force to pay for someone else.

How ‘s that right? How’s that legal? How’s that constitutional?

The reason that they do it is that they don’t care because other people will make more noise than I do and because I quietly go to work and raise my family my rights are not as important as those who make more noise.

I make less noise so politicians think I have less rights, like my right to the pursuit of happiness through the ability to enjoy my effort. This being done through the money which I make and as always makes me ask how much of mine is mine?

The problem that now stands in front of the conservative governor's is that they must produce a state government that creates an atmosphere that will support the small businessman, cut the spending in their states and streamline ( cut ) unneeded agencies. If they do not do this the state will go back to being democratic led because the people in the states (VA and NJ) want someone who will have the answers.
We the residence of the state of Florida had a good Governor in Jeb Bush, keeping spending low was important but holding the state legislatures feet to the fire was the thing that he did best. We now have a Governor who just wants to be popular (or so it would seem) and doesn't cut enough out of the budget, yes we will make it through the hard times but we need to cut more and plan for worse times to come whether they do or not.

I am watching the news and I wonder is the elections in Virginia, New Jersey and New York a indicator of things to come? I say that they can be if the people are true to the conservative mentality, spend less, spend wisely and fight fraud! If the elected officials who won on the agenda of the conservative values do this it will lead to a new chance for America to emerge as a world leader of freedom. If the People who have won these elections move to the center or the left of the political spectrum it will strengthen his chances of being reelected and give another push of this country to the socialist agenda.

Double speak about jobs saved and created

3 Million jobs lost since President was elected a year ago and they claim to have created or saved 650,000 jobs. That means that 1,450,000 jobs have been lost under president Obama with help from the stimulus plan that was rushed through.
And they make it sound like they have a good thing in what the stimulus plan has done so far. Of course those who are out of work look at it a little different.
Now the simple math won’t be pointed out by the media, nor will the fact that we were not supposed to go past 8% unemployment and the president now says he expects unemployment to pass the 10% (he was on the TV today nearly pleading for someone to come up with a plan).
This math (of saved or created jobs) is coming from a man who never led or ran a business, but his party and others expected he would lead us out of this hard times?
He is completely dependent on radical left wing organizations’ to think for him.
Here is the thing that we need to understand; the president has no clue that the Government doesn’t create jobs other than government jobs, so why did those who supported this kind of change think that he was the answer?
People feared the future and the hard times that would come, so when they had a speaker who was able to convince them that he had the answer they chose him without proof.
Instead of a leader who says, we as Americans need to come up with ways to get through the down cycle, we got a leader that thinks the American people can’t and only the government can.
We also need to look at the double speak that is happening now, with the term jobs created and saved. The government stimulus only advanced some jobs that will go away once the money does. Next I’d like to know exactly what jobs it was the government saved? Not an estimate or an example of what they would be but a hard fact of this job was saved!
Don’t be tricked by the smooth talking double speak that this president spews, the natural cycle will move jobs, change jobs and create jobs. It always had and always will.

I am sitting here watching C-span (don't laugh I happen to stop there), and I am watching how a congresswoman from NY is pushing in her questioning to get the pay Czar to agree that we should do things like set the way we do pay and compensations for business that are under the federal governments thumb, like those of europe. or how the government can push to get things changed in contracts even if they are legal and binding. Like pushing to have contracts regarding pay renigotiated.
This is all of what is wrong, we should have not forced the companies to deal with freddy mac and fanny mae. Because of that the banks had to make loans they normally would not have. then when they failed because of government regulation we want to say those who failed should have their pay managed. Government fails all the time yet not one congressman has lost his or her pay. Our federal government is reaching into things it never should have in the first place, they are the reason for the housing failure and the bank failures. now they think they can fix it by getting more involved. How scary is that!

That is the axiom that needs to be made as clear as possible.
We the free people of America who are of an ownership society have made it clear since the beginning of our country that mine is mine. The British learned this at the very beginning of the revolution that set into motions a free society, we fought for our land and we fought for rights to own that land and all on it. In this new changing society one of the biggest fears is that we are loosing our freedom, you say that government isn't taking your property. My money is my property and I work hard to earn it, as you tax it more and more you are taking it to give to others.

I take care of my family, those in my community, and others whom I care about with my time and effort because I choose too. The effort is mine and the time is mine.

There is a story in today's Chronicle, "without a paddle"
This is a story every kid needs tol read, not to feel sorry for the plight of these people but instead so our kids don't repeat it.
You see the lesson is that everyday you make the choice to be successful or to put your future in jepordy.
The story talks about two 42 year olds and a 19 year old son (of the mother) who are living in a boat.
the man is working but only brings in $200 plus after taxes and the payment child support, the other is getting $430 in unemployment. It can be imagined that the son is not bringing in any financial help, causing the mother and her boy-friend to have to spend more.
It seems that thbe individuals became unemployed a while back, her last fall and for the man it doesn't say. They have lived with others and now live in a boat.
The question to ask your kids.
Can this happen to you?
How do you budget your money to prevent this?
What kind of cost will your future have?
Who's job is it?
What would you do if you found yourself unemployed?
What do you do if you find yourself in a low paying job?
If you were bringing in $600 a month how would you get yourself out of the whole?
If you found yourself in this situation and you had a person not financially contributing what would you do?
What places could you go to get help?
My answer to them would be, this could and will likely happen to each and everyone of us.
I would make sure my needs are met first and follow that by only getting wants that don't overwork my budget.
I will show them that they will have certain bills but also they will have the annual or by-annual increase in cost for things like insurance , auto repair and medical emergancies.
Understanding that the job belongs to the business and you only occupy that slot.
If I found myself in that position I would rework my resume, go to the library to submit my resume on line(or do it at the work force center or home).
What would you do if you found yourself in a low payng job is easy, continue to put your resume out there and try to find better. Don't be happy with just getting by and be as thrifty as possible.
with as little as $600 a month I would room with anyone, I would make them glad that theyhad me as a roommatd. My goal as stated above would be to get into a better position to improve my life.
I would not support a person over 18 who doesn't work to improve their possition, that person would have to be out on their own.
I would go to the library to read the paper to find jobs as wll as knock on every door I could, if it came to feeding myself I would go to every church.
there are so many more answers and mine might not be the best, but I try and have always tried to not make the mistakes that will ruin my life. This is what we must teach our kids, think about your future everyday if you actually want to have a good one.

I would like to know, if I held up a dollar and asked a group of people who's is this dollar? Most would say yours and a few characters would joke about it being theirs, I would agree with the first assessment. It’s my dollar and I can assure you I have worked hard for that dollar. I try to be smart about my dollar by paying my bills and other needs, then I put some into savings and finally I pay (reward) myself for being good with my dollar. This is a conservative attitude when it comes to the dollar I earn and spend. A good majority of Americans are fiscal conservatives at their core, but then you have the government come in and look at that same dollar. The government doesn't see your dollar as your dollar, they see it as a means to provide services. We agree as citizens that my dollar pays for certain things, like roads, police, the fire department and military. There are even programs that are out there for times of need like food stamps (which I hear people talking about how to bilk that system all the time) that are there to help. I agree I should pay a portion of my dollar for these things, yet we are now to the point that my dollar is not going to things to help but to projects that pander. My dollar that was mine is quickly divided up into, taxes, fees and charges paid to the government. Many of my dollars go to help other governments around the world, a lot of it gets wasted right here. Now your telling me and those like me that if I have insurance it will be taxed or if I don’t have insurance I will have to pay a penalty? My dollar? Or do I work to make money for the government and they let me keep some of what I earn to make me happy so I will go out and make them more. Who’s Dollar is it? Ask how much of mine is mine!

As a supporter of the tea party I stand with like minded individuals to let our government know that we want our constitutionally guarenteed right to redress our greivences.
Mr President please listen to what we have to say!

As a blogger and an American Citizen I am speaking out about the abuse of power that is now rampant in our government.
as exampled by the appointment of radical individuals as czar, the bully tactics used to rush legislation through congress to be signed in to law, the double talk about a more transparent government and the bold faced lies fed to us about our taxes.

As a retired paratrooper I know that to win any fight we must have clear and consice answers and ask the right questions.

We need answers that will really solve the problems that we face today, not lip service from a president who pandered to the people to get elected.

We need answers to healthcare reform that doesn't punish many to pay for a few.

We've all heard stories about medical bills that caused people to loose their homes because of the outrageous cost of treatment.

why not create a fund that families in need could borrow from as a interest free loan to off set their medical bills, thus giving people a hand up not a hand out.

we need more doctors and nurses and other healthcare professionals, so why not redirect grant monies into the medical fields instead of funding the study of mice.(find a better example)

lets start encouraging jobs in the medical fields in high schools by introducing courses in E.M.T. And C.N.A..

We can grant automatic legal immigrant status to any highly needed medical professional from overseas.

I am not suggesting that these are the only solutions to our problems, I am just trying to encourage a mentallity of grass roots answers..

with that thought in mind why not why not establish term limits which will potentially stop the corruption by politicians who give away our tax dollars so they can stay in office. Limit Representatives to 4 terms and sentators to 3 terms.

Let the politicians know that our tax dollars are not their tax dollars. that they (politicians) can not use our money to teather their nests and continue to bribe the voters with "free government programs".
Another answer, and I'm sure a lot of you will agree with me, is give us the fair tax!

it will bring in investments and bring back jobs. it will get rid of the underground economy that allows the free loader to mooch off of our tax dollars.

Finally we as individuals need to ask the right question,
and the most important question I would like to ask is "how much of mine is mine?".
Ask that to every politician who wants more in taxes, fees and charges.
Tell all of your elected officials that we as individuals work hard for our money. We pay our bills and struggle to get ahead in life so I have to ask. "Mr. President how much of mine is mine?".


Yet politicians don't think twice about increasing current taxes and even creating new ones just so they can maintain their life styles.

Everyday we see politicians pandering to the moochers. Moochers who will elect anyone so that they can continue to get their "entitlements".

Once again I ask "how much of mine is mine?"
It's time for us to stand up against a increasingly oppresive goverment, to speak out about this abuse of power. It's time to come up with real answsers and then top it off by asking that one question that politicians avoid like the plague "how much of mine is mine?".

Where's dinner

I would like to know if I have to give more of my paycheck in the way of higher insurance premiums to help other have free or less expensive healthcare. What do the people who are getting my money have to do for this care? I work many hard long hours and because of that I pay more in taxes also. So since I have to pay more in incfreased premiums and taxes, do those who we are supporting with our effort actually have to do anything other than fill out paper work?
I understand that there are those that need help, yet there are hundreds of thousands if not millions who will bilk the system and waste my hard earned money!
They (the moochers) will get away with it because some bleeding heart will FEEL sorry for these people and try to justify the fraud. With comments like "they were just trying to make ends meet", or "what do you expect in hard times" and "they are the working poor and they deserve it." I say why do they deserve my money? My employer gives me a salary for doing something and we are giving other my money for my time and effort. Hows this for a option those who profit from my effort should allow me to go to their house for dinner, but they don't have the money you say I say yes they do have money , mine. So wheres dinner?

That is what I want to ask each and every healthcare proffessional. 90% (in my opinion) of all medical professionals are honest and hard working people who chose to get into health care.
some chose medicine for humanitarian reasons, fasination with medicine and even the financial gains possible.
none of these are bad reasons, yet only those who want financial gains will always be attacked.
the people who get into medicine for financial reasons are quickly vilified and all to often every doctor is just as easily targeted, becuase of wealth envy or dissatisfaction.
people say that doctors make to much money, but most of these people who would say this have not went through the many years of school and intership.
Doctors don't care about the needy you say, so I say go to medical school and show them how to do it.
Not born with a silver spoon you say? Never a real good student, but if you were you would be a better doctor then whats out there now?
I say that these doctors who are often on call to help those who would hate them at all hours of the day and night. Why .do you act like the doctor is great when they are there but talk bad about them when they are not. One recent letter said "patients have a right to go to the doctor when they are in pain and shouldn't not be told unless something is wrong".
Truth is that that person wants free health care and wants the doctor to be at their call.
What a state of mind, because they have pain the doctor should be at their beck and call and further more that person doesnt want to ay for it?
oh how typical of those who want health care reform, give me medici.ne now and make someone else pay for it.

The letter in the paper started with the line. Health care for free!

This individual talked about how she got hurt while on vacation (oh how nice to be wealthy enough to vacation overseas). An ambulance was called and she was sent to the hospital, the short of it was after some minor questions this lady was given health care. When it was time to leave they waited for payment arrangement and were told “we don’t have time for that; universal health care should take care of your treatment.

This she claims is what is wrong with America and goes on to say how satisfied she was with her experience and that hard working Americans should get the same because they deserve it. Then complains about how the bloated CEO’s make money on the sick folks.

Let me get this, you have more than enough money to travel overseas and take time off for a vacation and want free health care? Did I get that right? I want the best health care that money can buy and I am willing to pay for it out of my own pocket (and I can’t afford a vacation). You took money out of the pockets of the people like me that paid for you when you obviously can afford it, you don’t want everyone to have free health care you just don’t want to pay for it. This is the problem with those who support health care. If you don’t want people to pay for health care then take all that money your able to spend and give it to the people at Shands who provide care for children! You hypocrite! Talking about bloated CEO’s, there are more good CEO’s than bad, they work long hours to make a business successful and provide jobs so that you can earn a living and go to England and get free health care paid on the backs of the average citizen. Remaking America in the image of our leader

Since our current President has gotten into office the only thing that is really being done is remaking America in the image of what our president wants. The America that kept the world moving forward, the one that helped end oppression and freed millions. We have asked more of our people in the name of others, we have done for others that which they could not do. Now we are going to change all this and end up as a country that is oppressing our own, causing our country to slide to a lower status. My daughter has a new term, I think now is the time for me to use it. Oh My God, that is what she says and that is what I think when I hear that President Obama has won an award for freedom after being in office for only two weeks! What kind of award is it when you get it for your intentions or because they hated your predecessor so much that they award you just because it's not him. Oh my God!
How can you look at those who have actually accomplished something in their life and say we were going to vote for you but this other guy is going to do so well so we are voting for him. I think at that point I would pack up my work for others and say the heck with this, OK maybe not but I would be very unhappy!

You talk about the need to help, yet you want to force me to help others with my paycheck. How many of these same people are helping others.
On a daily basis I work to provide a good life for my family, why you want to take the food out of my family’s mouth?
Even if I gave every extra penny I have to the supposed needy they would eventually find themselves back in the same position in life.
Children need to be taught, failure starts early and success starts even earlier.
The philosophy of striving for the brass ring should be taught, not only in the monetary sense but in the sense that being your best at what you do is of vital importance in life.
Through this your chances of having a good life improve, yet foolishness in your life will cancel out any good you do any other time.
We need to stop teaching a workers attitude and plant the seed that will take the yought of today past the point of merely showing up and working solely to pay the bills.
We must teach a ownership mentality, “Mine is Mine”.
Be proud of your values and ethic and all the rewards of a hard working and honest life.
People will tell you don’t be greedy yet they want to reach their greedy hands into your pockets, all in the name of taking from you the greedy.
The idea of using greed to fight greed, that is how they take from you by using what they are and accusing you of the same.
This makes you go on the defense and obscures your vision, this is the time when looters take from you.

I would like to respond to the letter “option needed”.
Mrs. Ballan talked about how we elect legislators to represent us. She is correct, those who are against a “public option” represent my views and those who favor one are her views.
She obviously means that elected officials should only support the ideas that she chooses, this is one of the biggest problems that the left has. I as a blogger (everydayconservative.blogspot.com) espouse my views all the time. I also understand that in something’s I will not get my way because our officials represent all of us. The public option though is a smoke screen for a more intrusive government. If the public option becomes that quasi-insurance that they claim, they will have a problem of collecting as much in premiums as they pay out in claims. So the government will have to pay out to fix the problem like they do with every other program. There is no such thing as a government program that is in budget, if there is please tell me.
Is the government option really what this person wants or is it an issue with companies making a profit? Gasp a profit, think of the horror of the fact that an insurance company wants to make money and pay their people, their bills and build their businesses.
Mrs. Ballan talks of people dying of lack of health care yet more people die from drinking and driving and excessive speeding, a much more controllable situation.
Oh and lets not forget that Mrs. Ballan wants health care to be a right. She should be made to work in a hospital to support that right; of course the pay will be minimal to help reduce the cost to others. I know Mrs. Ballan will have no problem cleaning bed pans in support of those rights. You see the basic problem is two fold.

The president claims that health care is a right, then you must assume that other more important things are a right and should be granted by the government.
1st Right (Food)
To survive you must have food, if Government health care is a right then food is the first of all rights as no one can survive with out food and no one should die from lack of food.
We should provide each and every family with food enough to survive , those who make a profit should be made to pay More at the cash register to support those to lazy to to earn the money to shop at the best of stores just because of the cost.
Food is also a major reason for the need for increased health care spending, so the amount we let people eat should be controlled as well as the type of food they eat!
Any and all junk food white bread and other unhealthy foods should be done away with, just think a law can be passed and no more fat people!
This would be the way for Government to ensure peoples rights to good healthy food!
2nd Right (Shelter)
There is no reason for people to be homeless, everyone should have a home of their own and no one should go broke having to pay for a house that the government can pay for. A house that is built by the government will help bring down the cost of homes because competition is good, all you have to do is increase the cost of the homes from people who can afford them to pay for the houses of the needy.
To stop homelessness you could also tax the stars, they should be made to give back the money to their rightful owners, so the homeless could live regular lives. This would also allow them to be healthier, along with providing for their first right (Food) the could again be happy people.
3rd right (Employment)
The right to have a personally rewarding job that will allow people to feel good about themselves, it doesn't matter if they can do the job as long ans they feel good about themselves.
We can make others who have jobs either give up some of their hours or take a cut in pay, that or they can even go as far as giving up their position and moving back to their roots at the bottom.
4th right (transportation)
It doesn't help to provide for the other rights if unless everyone has a means of transportation, How till they get to their work or visit their friends houses to find ways to get more government aid. That and how will people be able to drive to the convenience store for their cigarette's and beer? It should be easy to provide a car for people since the people already own a car company. (Government Motors).
Once all these rights are taken care of I think we won't have to worry about health care because who needs health care when you don't have freedom.
This is the direction the country is going and if you don't believe it then just look at Cuba, Venezuela and the Peoples Republic of Korea (North Korea).
They have so many rights which even include free health care, they just don't have freedom.

Czars work as the Presidents means to destroy out founding fathers experiment of a constitutional Government that is our "Republic".
The individuals most sacred document (the Constitution of the United States) called for the Government to protect the freedoms of the individual and their freedom, freedom that set our country apart from the others.
The Czars must go to protect the form Government that stands for the individual. Cap and trade is a Marxist type of punitive tax that effects every American at every level, you will pay more to industry meet the requirements of Government Regulation.
In the Punishment that is cap and trade you the individual will see more of your dollars go so the Government can distribute your money to those they choose. This is contrary to all of our principles that we teach our kids or that we hope to see in our family and our future.
We are expected to work together so we can help each other yet you can't help an individual who doesn't want to help themselves.
this is the cap and trade goal as I see it, take from those who do and succeed and give to those who are less able.
It is a way to enslave the people who strive for success, even though actual slavery is illegal mental slavery is being advocated by our Government.
The Universal Health care plan is the last move that the Government has, to use benevolence to enslave the people who succeed and those who don't. Those who succeed will be forced to pay more ,yet still they will be called cruel and callus or full of hate if they don't want to give freely.
Like the unions who drove the corporations to bankruptcy and made them go to the Government to surrender, the Government will do the same to the individual in hope of making them join the collective and surrendering to the Government.

Suzan Franks is a typical politician in the sense that they complain about high prices in the private sector but have no problem with out federal Government increasing (taxes) rates.
The letter to the editor (09/20/09) talked about how progress energy wants to impose a tax on it's rate payers.
Is Mrs. Franks now so against imposing a tax rate increase that she will speak out against the cap and trade? Which is on a rate increase on even the most indigent of energy consumers.
Will her organizations "Citizens for Rate Payer Rights" that is 10,000 strong, send someone to the white house to complain?
She must be aware of how the President ignores the millions of people who are speaking out against his policies of increase rates. Is she a typical politicians or will she cross party lines like so many of the others in support of the Tea Party who speak out against the cap and trade rate increase or will she only speak out against Republicans? This is your chance Mrs. Franks to prove your letter to the editor wasn't just a political hit on still another Republican and your really against rate increases. Be it Federal, State or Other. Univeral healthcare, not what we need!

You see the Government is currently telling you that millions of people are in crisis because they don’t have healthcare. Yet how many more millions are in crisis because they can’t get to work in a reliable care? An individual without a reliable car has an increased chance of losing their jobs, costing them and the economy more than can be estimated by my humble means. But if they had a new car (say from a government owned car company), they could make it to work and have a better chance of succeeding at their jobs and the bosses would lose less money. This would also put more money into the pocket of the individual and allow them to pay for that healthcare that they so easily claim is a human right.
The truth is I don’t think the government should give anyone a car or universal healthcare.
I think that government should stop being so wasteful with our tax dollars that they have to take more, claiming that because people can’t afford health insurance they will pay for it with yet still more taxes. The problem is that it is a vicious cycle of government taking more of the individual’s money through taxes, then offering help because of the lack of money due to over taxation.
If you turn on the light it’s them in your house, look at every bill and you will see that government has its hands deep in your pockets, we are overburdened with taxes preventing success, and they are in your way.
What does this government do? It over taxes but offers more entitlements yet because of this people can’t afford things in their life like healthinsurance.
What is the answer? Well there is a big movement called the Tea Party or you can work at your own level by writing you elected officials. Tell them this simple message, stay out of our homes, stay out of our pocket and stay out of our way. We will fix America!

In all my life I have been taught that team work is important to success, be it sports or work. We are taught this from the very beginning of our life and we teach it to our children as soon as they can, why is it then that we punish the individual and not the whole team when someone does wrong.
This shows the fault of the collective or team mentality, why in the long run it won’t work.
It is the individual who makes things happen, when each individual achieves or strives to achieve their best the team or collective is then rewarded, but because you can not force those who wish to put less effort into things to perform their best the team or collective concept cannot be forced to work. No individual has ever failed who put forth their best effort, regardless of the results, because of this philosophy we cannot be our brother’s keeper, because when we choose as an individual to let the actions of others take control of us, the choice to give our best for ourselves is pointless and watered down.
If and when I make the conscience choice to help I do it because I benefit in some way. Helping kids in the community helps me in that there is a better chance of lower crime rate. Yet giving my money or food to others out of charity doesn’t help me as an individual at all. People will say but how can you stand by and does nothing as others fail? I say easy, I am giving them the motivation to do something to succeed because as long as they can take from me they have no need to succeed on their own.
More will say, but what about the infirm or those who are of a mental defect that doesn’t allow them to succeed. This is the most difficult point for an individual with a heart, yet I think that if someone is infirm and tries to do their best then it will benefit me to help because we can both get something from each other.
Yet if they are infirm and sit home and say feed me, help me, or do for me, I say turn a blind eye!
The only ones who should be assisted are the mentally ill that can do nothing what so ever, to those I say you will have my assistance. Because you truly have no choice to help, this brother I will keep.
It is the individual not the team, it is the individual not my brother, it is the individual not my country that must be first to succeed. And when we realize it’s because of the individual, then my brother, team, country and all can be great.

I spoke at the Crystal River Tea Party (9-12-09) and have to say I was so pleased by the type of people that showed.
People of all ages showed, people of all financial status showed (O.K. Bill Gates never made it), the one thing about this group that would be called a mob by is that everyone said please and thank you.
This group of Tea Party supporters is indicative of the average American. Food was brought to the event by individuals in support of individuals in need, support by individuals not the government is what many of the Tea Party thinks and wants.
They stayed in the rain to hear people speak, they never booed or complained. None of the speakers or supporters asked for the government to give them anything. Unlike those in opposition who showed up holding signs (very nice mass produced signs, wonder who is getting support and who is the grassroots) that asked for big business to pay their fair share. The opposition who wants the government to use its ability to take from us, by making it sound like big business will just pay more in taxes, when the truth is that business’ just get more out of our pocket and pass it to government.
The people at the Tea Party stand for freedom and they support the individual as the answer, not the collective of government.
The Tea Party supporters know that many have sat still too long, while our freedoms are slowly being suppressed. The average American who makes up the Tea Party are now awake and ready to step up and be heard, the march on Washington was a call to end the expansion of government. This march was a protest march that was in a size not seen before and even thought they packed the streets you don’t hear stories about rowdy protesters, passionate statements but no violence. See what happens when a pro-America, freedom loving mob gets together, it becomes a please and thank you mob!

In our modern society it has gotten to be clear that our Government has started to become oppressive to those they have sworn to protect and defend. By over taxation, imposition of fees and penalties and establishment of regulation our Government stifles the pursuit of happiness by those I call the "doers", in a free society. Because of this there are many more people who lose the spirit to strive for success and happiness. The result is a need to do something about those that made a deliberate choice to put as little energy into their lives as others. In the past people like that fell by the wayside, today they are pandered to by a politician who wants the votes. They start programs of entitlement that are basically a type of government charity.
This charity is abused at so many levels, between looter classes that pass on the secrets of how to bilk the system. To the administrators who are as liable for the fraud for giving approval for entitlements to obvious looters. All in the name of being charitable to what many call the needy, when it's obvious that it is too easy to be charitable with other people’s money. We are oppressing the doers by taking from them, putting weight on them to produce and be profitable so that their success can be shared with the looters in the name of charity. To the doers our government says now that you have done well and produced a profit you will pay that to the looters who don't make profit for themselves or others. This is oppression!!! People in the government and many in the populous say, but we are in support of this because it's only being done in the name of helping others and this shows how benevolent the government is. Yet how can this government be benevolent and oppressive?
It is wrong for the government to say if you are profitable we will take your money from you and give it to those they choose.
Is this government benevolent? I say no, it is the obvious contradiction to benevolence because to take from one to give to others without the choice is oppressive. Your law abiding doer understands that, government taxes to be able maintain infrastructure as well as defend the populous. It is not even part of the equation it is part of the oldest agreement in the country. After that for the government to come and take from you to do charity to others in the name of benevolence, is oppression.

How about instead of a government plan (call it what you want it is still run by the government), why not really fix the problem of people loosing it all because of the cost of healthcare. Establish a fund that will provide a tax free and interest free fund to loan money to people who are in a situation where they can't afford to pay for their care. They could pay it back as able, when their position in life inproves the amount would have to be increased. For those who are living alone (elderly) they could pay back their care in a asset sale after their passing. For those who can't afford any means of paying back the government, you would not provide the child tax credit.
Next there needs to be a cost reduction, Tort reform would be essential in reducing cost increases. Set a cost cap for rewards (covering current and future medical care as well as cost of living changes), any punitive fees would go in to the above stated fund.
Allow federal lands to be used by those who want to start up medical facilities in the most needy communities, this would be on a cost free basis as long as that medical facility was used for medicine (not transferable to non-medical business). For those who have disabilities and get government care, allow them to earn what they want while increasing the investigation of fraud.
Pass a law that requires insurance companies to keep any patient who has a change of status unless fraud can be proven (as an example if someone gets cancer the insurance company must keep them during and after). If a insurance company has a client who is found to have had a preexisting condition that is not grounds for dropping them, a new company must take a person with preexisting conditions at the same rate as the previous company but only if the individual left the other comany because of no fault of their own (closure of the previous company).

That is a question I had in mind when my twin was talking to our niece, we actually only posed to her the how much of your money is your money part. Yet that was enough to stop her in her tracks when she was talking about our president and what he wanted to do.
Milton Friedman brought up the fact that people don’t spend other people’s money very well, this I think is the core of why the Tea Party movement is building. When we see that our government is wasting billions and wants to start a new program that will insure that hundreds of billions is wasted. The same government that is currently loosing billions in the post office, Amtrak, social security, Medicare/Medicaid, veterans administration and so on. You see you are being pandered to in that the president is saying we are going to make the rich pay more and the savings from other programs is how we will pay for things. First is the falsehood that your taxes were lowered. Do you smoke? Your taxes went up. Do you eat? Your food cost went up. Do you have a house? Your power bill will go up with cap and trade. Yet you’re being told that only the rich will pay more. The only way that the rich pay more is through a increase in income tax, yet when you look at the percentage of the bill it come to you paying a higher percentage than the rich. I say don’t charge anyone more in taxes, find ways to cut the budget. Why do we come up with more programs when we have yet to have a successful one to date?
How much of your money is your money, well you will say it’s all mine. The truth is it doesn’t matter what you say, the government will tell you how much is yours and they even have a czar now to tell you how much you can earn if the government thinks it’s to much. In the cash for clunkers there was a section where it would allow for the government to get access to our computers, they you have a bill being worked in the senate to give the white house the power to disconnect private sector computers from the internet. Then you here about the program they had to report people to the white house (flag@whitehouse.gov). Now you have the Government pushing your kids into service, there is a plan for Jan-March to tell your kids about the Census. They are going to get classes prior to the Census so the kids can help get out the information about it. The census is a constitutional requirement; It is in place for a good reason. It helps draw district lines and determines how many people are in the district so you can have proper representation. I just think that the government shouldn’t take advantage of our children. By being trapped in a classroom, they don’t get to see that it is not their job to work for the government. The will assume it is normal, then how much easier will it be to get them to be loyal sheep!
Our government tells you how to live your life, what foods to eat, how much you can make, how much water you can use per flush and so on. Simply put the government wants to control access to you internet, your house, your kids and you.
Our current government supported by the liberals want one thing, CONTROL!

Cash for clunkers a good reason to stay away from healthcare

Cash for clunkers is a huge success in that it drove many to get something from the government, that being our tax dollars. So if it is such a success why does it scare the crap out of me? Simply put if many people will flock to a government program that gives them a discount, what will they do when the government takes over healthcare and gives it away for free (at tax payer expense of course). You see the people went to the dealers and got what they thought would be a good deal, they are now finding that the money they saved will be shown as income so they will have to pay taxes on it! The dealers are still trying to get through the huge amount of paper work and many may get stiffed, but hey you went further in debt and got the car you wanted.
Here is the healthcare angle; if the government is telling us that it will cost $1.5 Trillion dollars to insure everyone do you really think that is an accurate amount, when they couldn’t even budget for a billion dollar program.
Next don’t you think the looters of the world will take advantage of the health care and run the tab up? The mentality of getting something for nothing is so pervasive in our culture that it is guaranteed that people who don’t need it will get it just to have it, this of course will make supplies and providers scarce and drive up prices.
The example of what people do when you give them a discount is a great one to show healthcare won’t work, why not get to the root of the problem? Tort reform, that changes to a looser pays system and caps on rewards. Next support better funding for the systems that are already in place like the County Health department (note I have had people give bad reviews of service provided), last start bringing criminal charges against people who knowingly are perpetrating a fraud against the Medicare, Social security or any other agency (example: false disabilities).

I have recently finished the book, Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. I have to say that it is the most profound book I have ever read! It reads like a novel based off of our current situation, yet it was written in the 40-50's. Is it that the times she wrote of then has come around again? We have those who produce, they are the ones who make things succeed. Then we have the looters who drain and abuse the ability of the producers. I have been thinking about the book ever since I read it, I have a wish to be a producer and not a looter or anything near that. My next biggest fear is that I will not have enough influence to convince my children to do the harder thing of being a producer. Can I make them aware of those out there that will drain them of their right to success? It is funny how the work of those in the past can still be so relevant.

How is this administration going to increase the numbers of doctors to handle the increase of demand. When the government starts to push preventative medicine, it will require that each doctor handle more patients. How many minutes will it take for the doctor to say your over weight, you need to watch what you eat and exercise more. Then if you have any complaints you do have you will be rushed through so that the doctor can move on to the next patient. there isn't any real answers coming to help you, your just getting empty words. We need the cost for health care to come down, this is done by lowering the cost of liability insurance. Tort reform, in the form of a loser pays system. next for individuals who sue should get medical coverage as part of the law suit and a modest penalty to the individual to compensate for suffering.

Today we are at a crucial point in the history of man, we are at a point where looters and doers have balanced out. In the history of man life was so much more adverse, if you didn’t struggle there was a good chance that you would parish from the face of the earth. There were always the looters who made it on the backs of the doers, either because of the doers kind heart or the looters ability to manipulate facts or the situation. As civilization refined itself and the industrial age came about , the doers had more and became more altruistic. This made it easier for the survival of the looters, who also stared to more into positions of influence. Allowing for the ever increasing amounts of loot gained and for the start of generational looters. The doers had outnumbered the looters, but the looters were now able to increase in numbers. When community and family charity was taken over and nationalized to federal welfare, the looters had won a great victory and the doers out of the love of their family and community did nothing. With the technological revolution, the doers had profits and wealth, this allowed them to raise their standard of living. It also gave more ability for the looters to increase their powers, using terms like for the children they have taken money out of the mouths of the doers children. With terms like, for the elderly they have created the HMO’s that are now the cause or out struggling medical system. The looters come up with a plan to help the economy, they end up putting the brakes on capitalism and the jobs that support the doers go away. This has now brought us to the point that through fear mongering of the doers, the looters are equal in influence. The precarious state that we are in is a step towards socialism and the loss of a truly free society. But this president has made a big mistake, he forgot a main rule of the looters of the past. Steal from the doers a little at a time. We the doers are starting to awaken and become aware. We the doers in the form of the tea party movement are tired of the two parties who promise everything to get themselves elected, yet deliver nothing but entitlement program that drain the pockets of the doers and support the looters. We are sick to our stomachs when we see healthy young people fill out papers to fraudulently get welfare. The mentality of the doers is one in which we help our neighbors, the federal protects us so we can take care of our own. Our current president , along with the looters in congress are trying to make a society that is dependant on the government from cradle to grave. I say enough, if this is kept up there will be no doers and only looters and our great experiment in freedom will fail. If you believe in freedom and you’re a doers then it is time for action, regardless of party you should go and join the Tea party movement.

Healthcare at the point of a gun, that is what the government is offering the American people. You see the problem starts at the point where people say healthcare is a right, a right is not something that the government can give. To provide healthcare someone must pay for it, it will be the American people through income taxes, increased fees to your insurance and the increase of taxes to corporations.
The right that people are claiming will be paid for by taking it; if you don’t want to pay it th government can force you too. They can come to you and at the point of a gun seize you assets, property or whatever they need to pay it.
In the constitution you are guaranteed the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness this is the only thing that government can guarantee. They do it by making sure that people don’t take from you or are punished for doing it.
Even in the law where is says you have the right to an attorney, they can’t make an attorney represent you. They have to pay or persuade, but that lawyer can at anytime quit or decline. So in truth it is not a right.
The biggest problem with this healthcare is that they plan on forcing you and companies to do as they see fit. If you’re a well to do person you will be forced to pay more, if you’re the owner of a business and you don’t pay for healthcare and can afford it you will be forced to pay a “penalty” and if you’re able to buy a good insurance plan your going to be charged more so that those who don’t have can benefit from you.
Last and not least you will have to pay more because, business don’t pay taxes they get money from you and pass it to the government. So even the poor people will pay more (what that wasn’t obvious), through the increase cost of products.
Healthcare from the government, the only entity that can come and take from you for others at the point of a gun.

The cash for clunker has me asking, when do we get a cash for clunkers for our government?
I would like to trade in my current money guzzling Government for one that is more efficient. I currently have a Government that just can't keep running without me putting more and more into it and still more things break.
When my Government started it was all nice and new, it had some problems but the bugs were worked out and it started to run great.
Then in about the 1930's - 1940's it started to break down, the fix seemed to be put more attachments on it (social security as an example). My Government was able to struggle through the hard times of the 60's and 70's where no one seemed to take care of it, but just added more attachments to try to fix things (the war on poverty). In the 80's there came a mechanic who took many of the attachments off and we saw the government start to run more efficiently, we all started to say hey maybe this Government is going to run good?
Then came the 90's where we say our Government on loan to all the other countries to drive, just like so many old clunkers that you loan out to friends.
After the turn of the millennium our country was sideswiped, since then we have struggled to keep our damaged clunker of a Government running.
Our previous president kept it running after the devastation but put way to much in attachments. instead of putting it in to fixing the engine.
We saw the election of an individual who said he could change things, yet instead of our clunker government getting things fixed it got a paint job. Much has been set aside for the future repairs to our government, yet we see our leaders getting spinners and a booming stereo as they load more and more onto the load that the Government must carry.
How much more can the Government carry before it breaks, why do those who come in office fail to fix the engine of our Government even after so many promises. The only program I want to see coming our of Washington D.C. is a cash for clunkers for Government so I can trade in the broken one I have now!

I am asking for a confirmation that the Tea Party Movement is in line with the policies of the Democratic Party. In the previous eight years the people in Hollywood, Code Pink, the Daily Kos and Moveon.org followed things said by people like Senator Hillary Clinton. who said “"WE ARE AMERICANS AND WE HAVE A RIGHT TO DEBATE AND DISAGREE WITH ANY ADMINISTRATION!" ,as well as many of the Democratic Party who supported radical groups speaking out, throwing things and interrupting speakers. Your tactics are effective and we are starting to follow them now. We in the Tea party are protesting and speaking out, isn’t this is what your party suggested? If I’m wrong please let me know! Did you appreciate when supporters of the Democratic party blocked traffic in the streets and interrupted the daily lives of people to protest the war and the previous presidents policies? Our members are now attending the town hall meetings held by Democratic leaders, Aren’t you happy that we are there listening and giving you feed back. I understand the President is so proud of us following Democrats example of free speech that he has asked for the unions to help. $8000.00 for people buying houses, $4500.00 for those who turn in their cars for clunkers.
Program after program is coming out of this Obama administration and their answer is that the rich are going to be taxed to pay for it all. Yet with the increase in cigarette taxes and the increase of the daily cost of living going up, with the proposed cap and trade it isn’t just the so called rich that are going to pay for all these new and pork barrel programs.
Individuals who smoke tend not to be rich and each and every one of us will pay for this increase , but the Democratic party will convince millions that this is a good thing and the will of the people. We ignore that medicare is going bankrupt as is Social security, they have used a slight of hand trick to blind you of the current failings of government.
Let’s face it they think the average person is dumb (lacking intelligence or good judgment; stupid; dull-witted), they think they are the only ones who will come up with the answers. But what they don’t know is that it will be the average citizens who will throw off the blinders and take the government back.

You see it in the fact that people are angry that the government is taking our hard earned dollars and giving it to others so that they can save on a car, if you want me to spend money on something all you have to do is stop taxing us so much. We will spend our money when we actually have it to spend.

$16,000.00 plus I paid in taxes and all that money could have been used by me to buy the things I NEED and provide a safe home life for my kids, yet the government takes it and hands my hard earned money to others to get cars. What did I get?

I am an average American, I go to work, I come home and I try to be a good man to my family. I earn a decent pay, I take the money home, and I pay my taxes. Last year I payed $16,000 in taxes, as I see it now I paid for two people to get money from the government so they could buy a house, I also paid for four people to get money for their clunkers. You see i have worked hard, paid money to our government in the hopes that they would provide good roads and other needs. I at no time wanted to pay taxes so someone could buy a car or get extra from me to put on a house, so I have one quiestion. When will they say thank you to me and all of us who have worked hard and contributed to our government, will we get a card or a letter? we will get what those of who want little to nothing from the government, we will get the shaft. We will pay taxes so others can get over on the system. I just want someone in America to tell people like us thank you.

What are the real questions of the cost of health insurance? Why does the government not ask them? Perhaps it’s because of the government’s ties to medical unions (pandering to them for votes) or the fact that the government is part of the problem!
Medical costs are ridiculous, the price you pay for a meal in a hospital is higher than you’d pay in a three star restaurant, a bandage costing so much more than what you’d pay at Wal-mart, of course you’re also paying for the person who puts it on, not to mention obscene malpractice insurance cost. These things are part of the cost that you pay when you get insurance. Another price you pay when you get insurance is the difference of what the hospital charges and what the hospital receive in government compensation for Medicare and Medicaid recipients.
In the retail business they tell of how the cost for products we buy is higher due to theft. This is a proven fact! You might say how does that even compare to the medical industry? Well if the government is only paying eighty five percent of the cost (or in the case of Medicare, eighty five percent of what they pay for Medicaid, that’s, eighty five percent of eighty five percent), someone has to pay the difference! It’s you and me, or any company you might work for that has an insurance plan.
The government hasn’t even addressed these points. Perhaps they are afraid that we’ll get upset about having to carry the Medicare and Medicaid recipients, not just with our taxes. Perhaps we’ll start asking the right questions like, what really are the costs to us in our search for less expensive insurance. Probably not! Really!

Harry & Louise are back, but this time they are for healthcare. Maybe you didn’t get to see the commercials in the 90’s. You see back then they spoke out against healthcare.
Oh what could the reason be for this change of heart, please tell us about this epiphany you had so we can all be enlightened. Why is it you are working against doctors, what about tort reform to get rid of the overwhelming issue of frivolous law suits. Or address the waste and abuse that is already in the medical system. Unlike Harry and Louise, I am still against the principle of universal healthcare (regardless of house you name it). While in the military I saw people claiming physical and mental ailments when they had none, this was done to get them out of work. On the civilian side I know of people who are collecting money from the government because of disabilities. Some do hard work but are only allowed to earn so much so they work part time. Others get paid off the books so they can get a pay check and government check, others do nothing and just get the government check. Imagine what an already overwhelmed medical system will do, someone comes in with a complaint there is a good chance that the doctor will simply give the person what they want so they can go onto the next patient. That person will then take the doctors papers to claim disability and get on the government dole.
This is the truth of government healthcare, fraud at every level. Some medical people will bill for services and medications they didn’t provide. There will be administrators who will spend money on expensive office equipment and travel on taxpayers dollars. This is not what every doctor does but this does happen all the time and will only get worse the more government gets involved. So what was it exactly that changed the mind of Harry and Louise?

The president of the united states obtained the office by means of fraud.Pandering to the fear that comes in times of hardship, hardship that tend to be part of the normal cycle of things. As the economy started to stumble, in 2005-06 because of laws (passed by a democratic congress) that made it possible to get more home then people could afford, requiring lenders to accept the applicants as long as they passed the Fannie and Freddie standard (most did).Those who helped push the economy over the edge, putting people in a state of fear. This supported the president in this fraud, a fraud that was perpetrated at the utterance of a word.“Change”Change is a thing that everyone fears in good times and hopes for in hard times. The fraud comes at the point of realization that everything changes, nothing will ever stay the same no matter what or how hard you try. Things will change regardless of who is in charge!But President Obama put the message out, he was going to be the one to bring change. Some thought he meant good change (yet no one asked him how or in what way), some of us feared tat he meant change in another way. Now change has come and those of us who feared change to less freedom and the loss of the individual have been proven correct.We now have change to Government owning private corporations, being major stock holder in financial institutions, and the deciding factor of how we will live our lives.The fraud of change has cause many people to wake from the coma that our president has put them in, people are now speaking out about real change, they are starting to define the change they want in great detail. I wonder with this word how the President and the Democratic Party can say that the people deserve Universal Health care. You see I as a veteran have certain physical problems that cause me discomfort on a continual basis, I go to the V.A. for care for my service connected problems. I got them while serving my country and in such I feel I deserve the care for things that resulted in putting my physical health on the line for my country. For all others things I don’t deserve anything, I have not done anything other than any other citizen that causes me to deserve care from the government at the cost of everyone else. I have been told by people that they deserve healthcare that they paid their taxes and they deserve for the government to take care of them. The paying of taxes is something that everyone does, from it we get security through the military and aid in the way of FEMA and other things. But how’s it that this health care is deserved, if we are allowed to add things to what we think the government has to pay for because we claim we deserve it. Then we can give ourselves everything, the question is who is going to pay for it. You say tax the producers or better stated the rich, the question is after working to earn their money and build their business why do they deserve to have to pay more. They are the makers of jobs and commerce, they deserve to be left to build more and grow jobs (something the government can’t do). Deserve, maybe we need to learn what words mean.

I also want the Tea Party to be more than just a stand up and speak. I think that we should try to add things to it, so that as we speak there is More than just informational booths or speakers. We need to have kid friendly area's, Papa John came through and handed out free pizza at our event (Inverness Fl). Maybe we could make it a pot luck dinner kind of event like they used to do in the past or if that is not a good idea, then hot dogs, beans and chips to keep the energy level up. have a couple of mister stations available to cool the people off so they won't get over heated.

Change at the lowest level

We should try to make change at the lowest level, we should talk to people about the facts of what is happening with our government. We need to join local political, social, charity and other groups and drive the grassroots by showing the people in these groups what a conservative stands for.
We need to write, call, fax and E-mail our elected officails and tell them that we are not happy with the way they are running things. We want less goverment, we want less taxations, we want less government programs that are keeping people in a form of submission or doesn't allow for individuals to succeed or fail on their own merits.
We should also get people to go to the Tea Party events, the more people who fill the streets the louder our voice the better chance we have of makind a difference.
Last we need to support those who can speak and ask those who can't to find other ways of being helpful (because even some who could get up to speak didn't do anything but chance people away).
We can make a difference. We will make a difference. We are making a difference!

America under attack

I think we have to face it, with Czars, government take over of the economy, the push to have judges who are empathetic, and an ideal that we can make friends with everyone. We are screwed, we are truly to the core screwed until that leader comes out of the shadows. Some of us hope it's Palin and some of us hope it's Huckabee. But the key, is that we need someone who has the plans. who can lay out a way to make it easier to be successful and raise you family. That person will be from the grassroots, he or she will be Conservative and most of all, that individual will be an example for all to follow, just like Reagan was!

Local Stimulus

Stimulus.I read in The Chronicle the other day, it said that 8.1 million dollars of the Stimulus will be used here in Citrus County. At first I thought that well, even though I am against the Stimulus. I am at least glad that it is being spent in our local community. Then I saw what I assumed to be illegal aliens doing work on the side of the road.

It made me think that the government's bailout is just covering up a problem and will only marginally help. Next I wondered who is going to get that money? It seems that the American people have just not thought about it, that the stimulus is supposed to help Americans. Yet if the majority of the work force on the roads are illegal aliens, (my belief) who will get the profits? Will the millions in stimulus now be the stimulus that goes to help Mexico?

Resurfacing the roads is a good metaphor for this situation in that the government is just putting a nice coating over the real problem. The government made it so that everyone could get a house, sending the home builders into over drive. Then the people bought more home then they truly could afford. The economy crashed causing the government to come in and take our money so they could spend it on programs that don’t really help. We don’t need a stimulus or a second stimulus; we need a change of government. We need to get government out of our homes, out of our pockets and out of our way, because the real stimulus will come from us the average American citizen. Something you can’t pave over!

Stimulus packet number two on the way? It has been in the news lately that there are people who work for the President that are suggesting the first stimulus didn't have enough money in it and we should have a second. Are you kidding me? There is so much fraud, waste and abuse, it makes the hundred dollar hammer of the 80's seem like chump change. When will the Government realize that you can't spend your way out of trouble, you need to correct the corruption that was inspired by the likes of Reid, Pelosi, Frank and all the others who ignored Fanny and Freddy. Time to stop believing the people who promise everything and give nothing and leave you wanting something, Fred Thompson didn't want the job and offered nothing. Now that was the guy I wanted, he wanted to fix the problem not add things to the programs!

Join the Tea Party Movement. Write someone (friends, family, the local papers, and your politicians) and tell them to stop the stimulus pay offs and pandering to those who just want "free" stuff from the government.

The right time to read

I am currently reading a book, it is Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged. It is a book that was right for it's time (1950's) and seems to once again be the right book to read to understand what is going on. I know the book asks who is John Galt, I havent gotten to that point yet I just hope that my daughter can be the Dagny Taggert of our day! I enjoyed the Tea Party this past saturday and want to take a moment to say thanks! A movement that is run by the people and for the people is not easy to run and I want to thank Edna Mattos first of all. Edna is the local driving force behind this movement and spends many hours of selfless effort in making this happen. People like Edna prove it is the Everyday citizens who are what make america great.Second a and individual who wa afforded the chance to speak I want to thank those who also got up to speak, I know it was not easy to get up there and I am glad I was not the only one. Next I want to thank the nearly 1000 people who showed up for the event on a very hot sunny Florida day. You are the ones who are making this morement great and you are the reason we will be successful. Last and just as improtant I want to give a very personal and loving thanks to my wife, twin, family and firends. your support has made it possible for me to get out in front of people and say what I hope is what we think is important.

Cap and Trade, good for who?

We bring oil out of the ground, ship it, and sell it to make the engine that is our economy keep going. The Cap and Trade will increase the cost of fuel for each of us and the Government tells us this is good.
Cap and Trade will make our electric bill go up, it will cost more to manufacture, to store things in warehouse (both at the manufactures and at the distribution centers), and cost more to keep it at the store. This will make everyday bills go up, but the government tells us it's a good thing?
At the end of the year when you have spent more on going to get your food, more for your food and more to run your refrigerator to keep your food cold it will finally become more apparent that each and everyone of us will being paying more. The lies that you were told about how they just wanted to raise taxes on the rich is going to be very obvious.
We teach our kids to pinch pennies and save their dollars, yet our dollars are taxed at every level and now our pennies will be stolen out of our pockets.
We no longer need to have milk jugs in the corner of the bed room, nothing will go into it! That extra special gift that we would have gotten for our kids will not be bought.
The manufacturers will not have to make as many of the products as they did before, and they will not have to keep that many people employed. Cap and Trade it's what the government says is good for you.

Where did the representative republic go? It has died off to Democracy, this was predicted by our forfathers because they knew that the most dangerous thing is when a person thinks they have the right to other peoples money.
They talked about how mob rule was a bad thing, because when you give the people the option to grant themselves free things they will. This word is to easy to use but to hard to admit. See the problem is that everyone says that the other person who has more is greedy and they assume that they are not. The truth is that if we are willing to admit it, we all want more. We want more pay, a bigger house, a nicer car, more vacation time and just about everything we can. We usually say we don’t want anything for free but so many people are asking for government aid and living off of the kindness of churches and other aid organizations.
I have only met one or two people in my life who did not want more.
Our esteemed publisher of the Citrus County Chronicle (who I do think does a very good job), talked recently about the possible end of greed. I hope that I miss read what he said, I know that when people take advantage of others it is criminal. When someone try’s to make as much as they can for their effort is living the American dream, it is not greed. I hope that if the Chronicle readership was to increase and the board decided to give Gerry Mulligan a raise he would take it, if the readership expanded by a huge number and the board decided on another raise he would take it. This of course would (wrongly) be looked at by those who are not getting pay raises as greed, but the truth is it is the American dream.
I just hope that each boss I have is greedy enough to keep me in a job and greedy enough to make the business profitable. I hope that we can get the criminal out of business (just like they did with Bernie Madhoff) and get people to understand that earning money is good. The more you earn the better it is for everyone, this jealousy of others (read wealth envy) has got to stop! We need to teach our kids to try to be and frugal and as hard earning as possible. The combination of these two things can help people be happier in their life. Greed, I say we need more of it.

A time of prosperity

The election of 2008 has guaranteed a time of prosperity, growth, freedom and openness like never seen before.
I believe that the time for people like Rep. Murtha to pilfer the government coffers to build his narcissistic need is here, he now has more money to spend on pork projects in the name of Rep. Murtha. Oh how prosperous he is now that he has a president in office that will sign off on anything he asks for.
The growth of government is now at a rate not seen since the FDR years, we are now making the government responsible for each of us, from cradle to grave. America elected a person to come in and change things, what they really wanted was someone who could turn things back to the days of prosperity. They didn't want a completee reworking of our country. The people I know who changed sides so to speak, did so because they said "something needs to change" and now they say "well I guess we need to give him more time.
Freedom of foreign governments to spit in the face of those who try to help and those who want to see people live free. The freedom to shoot their own people down in the streets, the freedom to kidnap and oppress the media. the freedom to not have the pressure of the world led by the U.S.A. on their back saying hey your treating your people wrong.
Our president has gaurenteed more freedoms for dictators and tyrants then they have ever had. Openness for people like the leaders of Iran and North Korea to seek nuclear weapons and sell them to the highest bidder.

I know of a young lady who has had to go to the emergency room, see a doctor, and get test done. all three different times cost her a total of $0.00 yes you read that right. it cost her nothing to be seen by the doctors and get test done. Let me explain. She is trying to go to school, and work at the same time. She earns very little and is only able to eek out enough to pay for her car, food, and other required items. She goes to the emergency room for care, regardless of the bill she will not be able to pay it. The hospital and the doctors will either eat the cost or more likely pass that cost on to us. Next she goes to the local health department and sees a doctor, the cost is once again $0.00 because she is such a low income earner, our tax dollars went to pay for her bills. (this is at least government at the lowest level taking care of its people.) There is no reason for government at the federal level to involve itself in health care, it should be done at the local level like we are doing it here. We have program after program that is being supported at the local and state level. Next we will never change the punishing cost of medical care till we have some tort reform. A doctor will send you for every test they can so that you don't end up suing them for malpractice, they will give you medicines you might not need just to keep from being sued. This will needlessly continue to run up cost care. The way to fix this is to implement a looser pays system so that those who have no case will have to pay all court and lawyer fees.
Last if you are not a legal resident or citizen you should not be allowed care, I know this seems wrong. Yet the many millions of illegal aliens who send money back to Mexico are now bringing more money into the country then they get from OIL! why is it they can bring that much money in but can't afford their own health care. Also I work at a location where there are many illegal aliens, it seems that they sure love their American cars. they drive some very nice ones, I wounder how they can afford that, but they can't afford health care. Oh I know they don't pay for their health care. It is time for the Conservative to ask for real equality and stop the government from this taking from hard working wealthy people and giving it to those who would sponge off the government.

Reform

Tax reform
I feel the fair tax is the best answer, because it simplifies the tax system. It keeps the tax cheats from the continued stealing from our country (be they rich or poor), takes away the under the table and black market economies as well as preventing the punishing of those who want to sell used goods to the less fortunate.

Education reform
The department of education is a waste, and should either be reworked to make it more supportive of the states or done away with. Vouchers should be a way to help people who have children that are truly trying to achieve, be placed in a position for success. Home schooling has been proven for the most to be a large success, with many being recognized for their intelligence. Magnet schools will keep the edge on our students, allowing for the U.S. to keep it’s competitive edge.

Governmental reform
The federal government has a redundancy issue, with so many agencies that are doing the same job as others. The waste in the governmental system will never be eliminated till we change things at the core of the problem. If a federal agency does the same job of the state then turn it into a regulatory job and revert any finances saved back into state funds.

Most favored nation status
Remove China and any other country from the most favored nation status that grants special trade privilege if they are violators of free trade, human rights or declares war on an ally.

Social Security reform
All monies collected for social security should be collected and placed in a position that is not to be touched for any reason other than Social security payments to retirees and any other programs should be paid from general funds ensuring a clear lock box for future recipients.

Stop aid to our enemies
Many countries that are receiving aid also speak out against the U.S. and often are using our money to plot against us. We give money to Palestinians as aid and it is used to build schools that teach hate of America and the Jews.

Audit every department / Agency
Every department and agency should have the ability to find the cheapest way to purchase things (like the military transitioned to, saving millions), get rid of the wasteful system of forcing departments and agencies to use any left over funds (zeroing out the account balance). This practice wastes million of dollars and is easily fixed by having the agency receive the appropriate amount of funding and putting any left over funds into a trust that can’t be used for several years (this will allow for the accrual of funds and the gain in money from interest could be used to support special projects). The permission for this usage should be granted by the boards or such that can be set up at the congressional level.

Immigration reform
The stream lining of the legal immigration process should start first at the work visas, with the punitive laws that make it cost prohibitive for business to go to other countries to hire being removed. Then make it harder for illegal aliens to simply come back into the U.S., make the deportation of illegal aliens a 3 month program so that money is lost when people come here. Stop the automatic citizenship for people who are not born of legal residence or natural born residence.

Czar reform
No future appointment of people to head government departments / agencies that are not congressionally approved. Appointment of individuals without oversight is a dangerous step to take, we must never forget that we are a representative republic that is governed by the elected not the appointed! Dismiss any one currently in this position that was appointed by any president regardless.

Palin 2012

I think that a smoldering fire is burning for a Ronald Reagan type individual to lead the conservative party. I feel that Sara Palin will be that person, because she speaks to the people and not at them as so many politicians do. She looks like the mom at the sporting events our kids play in. She faces the challenges of an average family, yet is an active business woman and politicians. She is an example for our daughters who want to know they can have it all. People I know have made the comment they hear on TV “she’s an idiot”. Yet she helped run a small business, was appointed to an office in government and was responsible for a clean up of corruption in her state. Up until her nomination as the Vice Presidential candidate she was widely respected across the state of Alaska for her work with both political parties (until the smear campaign by the DNC). She is not as refined a speaker as some of these politicians who can sell you anything, but she will tell you what she really thinks and stand behind it. Ronald Reagan was great because of several things, one of which is that he really believed in what he said. He did not say things just to be popular; he had a long history of taking stances on important issues. He spoke to the common man about America and the American dream, just like Sara Palin does. He led his state through tough times and Sara Palin is currently leading her state during this recession. Ronald Reagan was demonized by the media and the left wing establishment and Sara Palin is dealing with the same. Yes there is a future Ronald Reagan in the conservative party and it’s Sara Palin. I just hope that we in the conservative party can help her build her strength and show her the support as she develops that next level of maturity in being the candidate for president in 2012.

A thought about abortion when it comes to hard times

If you currently have kids and you fall on hard times and then find you’re pregnant, is it ok to have an abortion?

If so then would it be ok to have a post birth abortion?

If it is too hard to be broke and bring more kids in the world what is the difference then? Why not have your current offspring aborted also?

This of course is a completely extreme example used to make a point, but if abortion is ok up to late term then why is it not ok post term?

The argument has been made that woman feel that they can’t afford the cost after they have the baby but also just can’t give up their baby after they have them, so they have the baby aborted instead?

So if you can’t afford to have them and you don’t want someone who can afford the child to have them, then having the baby killed is the better answer?

The whole abortion question needs to be addressed at the point of puberty for both men and woman.

First be up front about the end result when you have a child who is about to become sexually active, sex causes children.

There are alternatives such as contraceptives and birth control (neither 100%).

There are alternative sexual techniques (ask your mom and dad)

Second if you have sex, it will hopefully be with someone that is of character and will help you support your child.

We have made it easier to have sex and not live with the natural consequence of the act, while at the same time not reinforcing the family that would naturally take care of the mother and child.

We have to stop saying we are anti-abortion or pro life, when the truth is we are pro child before and after birth.

How much to pay for free

I had a very cordial discussion with a person about abortion, I guess that I am some what unsympathetic to those who are not of the same mind and find that they are faced with the choice of abortion or keeping the child.
I feel that the choice was made when the individual was willing to get into a relationship and have unprotected sex. If you are going to have sex you have a very good chance that your going to get pregnant. Why should the child be punished for you making that bad choice?
What if that child had in it the make up to be the one to cure cancer? What if that was the one who was going to lead us into peace and prosperity?
So many reasons to not give up the child.
I just wish that we could rebuild the family to where we as a family take care of each other, instead of making a choice that ends the life of a child and further destroys the family.

I think that the President did a good job in the speech in Egypt. I just wish that he would not be a socialist, the hard points that he brought up are very important but often made with the caviot that we also made mistakes or were at fault. But the things he is doing to our country is self destructive.
He spoke well when he talked about the freedom of religion but fails at home when he pushes to take away our freedoms.
I have more thoughts and I will put them out later.

This speech by our President, screams of mediocrity! Don’t risk all for success and don’t enjoy the rewards, sit back and be complacent with what you have. If you don’t risk it all then things will be great because you can’t loose it all.
That is not what made America great, America was made great when explorers risked it all to seek new riches from foreign lands, if not for them America would not be great.
America was made great when a minority of people spoke out against taxation without representation; if not for those who wanted to keep their hard earned money America would not be great.
Henry Ford striving for success and riches, never let failure stop him and pushed America into continued greatness.
If Clarence Birdseye hadn’t wanted to get rich in the food industry we would not have frozen foods that helped feed our troops in war and our average household, helping feed America made us great.
Had Microsoft founder Bill Gates not wanted riches and success, we would not have the computers that make everyday business in America great.
Had there not been those who reached for the brass ring of success and challenge we would never have gotten to the moon, a second place would not keep America great.
If Reagan had not been willing to risk political capital to face down the Soviets, he would not have become one of modern day greatest leaders, we would still have a very powerful communist Russia. Would America be great?
America is a country where we strive for a better life for ourselves and our children and mediocrity will not get us there and I am afraid that our President will get us no where.

To hell with two state solution

Recently President Obama talked to Israeli Priminister Netanyahu and the subject of the two state solutions for the Palestinians had obviously had to come up. I don’t understand why it is that the people in that country can’t live together, if the United States did that we would have to have a 7 state solution.
A state for each ethnic group.
1. Black
2. White
3. Spanish
4. Asian
5. Jewish
6. Native American
7. Any other that is not a large enough group to make the list.
Next we need to ensure that there is fairness, like the Israeli’s get from the Palestinians. Every time one of those states has an individual that they want from another territory, they will have to give up hundreds for a exchange (like the Palestinians’ prisoner swaps that the Israelis’ have to deal with).
Will the major groups have to help fund the smaller groups? Will we have other countries involved telling us how the smaller states are being oppressed even though their leaders don’t do anything to improve their status?
There are people in the United States who would probably like to have just that kind of situation, but the truth is that we are better for everyone who wants to come here and make this a better place and that is the main difference, even if we don’t agree most Americans want to make it a better place!
The point that I am trying to make is that Israel shouldn’t have to constantly be punished because the Palestinians can’t build a working relationship with the people they live with or that the leaders of the Muslim religions use them as a excuse to send their kids to die instead of find a way to make a better future.
The real solution to that problem is to make them live together and stop pandering to any one group. That is all their land and each one should just worry about how to make it better instead of how to leave the ground blood stained.

Using scalpels on warts as the cancer grows.

When then presidential candidates Obama and McCain debated people listened, I noticed that when it came to government spending each talked about how they would cut spending.
McCain said we needed to take a hatchet to the budget while Obama talked about the scalpel.
We are now at the point to see the actions of the one that America chose; President Obama has asked that each department in government find a way to cut their budget.
The problem is that each department is like a patient being told to operate on themselves, with overspending, fraud, waste and abuse being the cancer that is in almost each department of government.
There is no way these department/patients can cut out the cancer, the only answer is for a surgeon to come in and do what is needed. Instead of the President (the surgeon) doing what is needed, he has helped the departments gain weight (pork projects) and become bloated. Were the scalpel to be used now it would not be able to get through the fat to cut out the cancer.
I have some suggestions, they may or may not make sense but I am willing to speak up and give my thoughts on the subject.
Make federal, state and local government share offices, land and equipment in a lend lease type of agreement. This could make sure that any equipment that is not being used by one group will be used by the other. This means that less equipment will have to be purchased and less tax dollars spent.
All federal, state and local departments that do the same thing should be pushed down to the lowest level, with the federal and state governments being an oversight.
This is just some suggestions, they might or might not work but it is up to us conservatives to show that we are the party of answers.
The problem is the government is using a scalpel that is only good enough to remove the warts, when the cancer that is government spending grows and grows.

Conservative answers

Not too long ago there was an article in the newspaper that talked about the Republican Party being the party of “no.” What people do not understand is the conservative portion of the Republican Party is the most inclusive within the Party. We want everybody who supports and defends the Constitution and the rule law to be part our party regardless of race, religion, color, or creed. Moreover we are the party of answers.
What I want to do over next couple weeks is posit suggestions for the conservative party to give answers for fixing what is wrong with America. Subject I think are important are: taxes, healthcare, government involvement in corporate America, education, tort reform, openness in government, the environment, the Constitution, government spending, immigration, homosexuals, and the appointment of czars.
I feel that the solution for taxation is twofold:
First implement the Fair Tax. The Fair Tax will ensure big spenders pay their fair share and those who are frugal will end up paying less. It is also a way to ensure that those who are paid under the table pay their fair share too. This will incentivize investors and business to come back from overseas because we currently have one of the most punitive corporate tax rates in the world. Under the Fair Tax everyone contributes regardless of being here legally or illegally. No matter if their income is legal or illicit, when they buy any good or service whatsoever it will contribute to our tax system.
Second I feel taxes should be collected in a lump sum each month with the individual having to write a check to the government instead of an automatic deduction. This would cause the average American taxpayer to realize the huge amount of tax dollars that comes out of their paycheck each month. The government should send out lists and quantities of taxes that individuals paid the local, state, or federal government to inform the tax payer how much the government requires individuals to pay.

I watched the debate that went on in committee about the Cap and Trade and climate change bill. I have two questions? what is the temperature you want the world to be set at and what will you do if the globe goes through a cooling cycle and we start to slide towards another ice age?
The cap portion of cap and trade is about carbon emmisions, well what happends if it works and the world starts to cool? or is this all about having more government control over the economy?

Conservatives can win

For conservatives to win we need to gather our knowledge base and teach our children right!
We need to start and/or administer charities and treat the truly needy.
Develop business support systems that are based on true conservative principles.
Pass laws that support the rule of law, prove that America is a law abiding country and that the constitution is the base for it.
We need to develop the right politicians who believe in government by, of and for the people.
For conservatives to win, we need to explain that we don’t want the environment to be poisoned or destroyed, but that there is no set temperature and man can not make the globe heat or cool.
The conservative party doesn’t have to explain about our views on race we have to show we don’t care what your race is but what your views are.
We must show that we are not a party of anti-abortion but a party of rights for the un-born.
Conservatives must explain better their tax stance; we are for the right amount of taxes to support a local, state, and federal government as required by the constitution not as a way to give free stuff to people.
Finding immigrant stories of success from those who came here legally will help the conservatives’ show that our hand is held out to welcome all who obey the rule of law.
Being gay is not something the Conservative cares about, but marriage is. Why add onto something that is already broken?
If we have many issues with tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs holding back people why would we want to add marijuana to the list?
The Conservative is the main cause for the rule of law, the freedoms guaranteed, civil rights for all, and the reason we have a free country!

Where does the patriotism lie?

Having seen hundreds of immigrants living and working here in Citrus County, I noticed they are missing something. It is a sense of patriotism, not in their homeland because there seems to be plenty of that. No it seems that there just doesn’t seem to be an over whelming sense of patriotism for the United States of America! I rarely hear of who great they think it is to live here or how proud they are to be in America. Instead their focus is still on being either Mexican or whatever country they are from. In my family history my maternal grandparents would not speak Italian to my mom and aunts because as my grandmother told me, she wanted them to be American (and so they could talk privately behind their back) and not be looked at differently. Today’s immigrant doesn’t think like this, the push to assimilate has gone the way of the wagon wheel. America after two centuries think it’s better to pander to the immigrant population and make forms bilingual! People have even lost their jobs because they didn’t speak Spanish. Will this keep going till English is the minority language? I feel for the most part that today’s immigrant doesn’t believe in constitution. They continue to try to life the life style they did in their home country instead of by the constitution like everyone else has to. Illegal immigrants in large numbers have gotten on our welfare system being the major reason for the growth in the numbers of those who need aid. What happened to the immigrant who struggled to make a better life in this great country? By this you may assume that I am anti-immigrant, I am glad to hear when an immigrant comes here to America and gets citizenship, as long as they did it the legal way! The last time I talked to one who did it legally he spoke pretty good English and was very proud of being here, he had a sense of patriotism that is the kind America has built its sense of freedom on.

One of the problems that I see us having to deal with is that we are many but not well orginized. The current administration has put to much out there, it's like walking out the door of a dark house and into the bright sun. You become disorginized and people are able sneak things by us! This is one of the easiest tactics, put to much out there and no body can stop everything. This gives every issue a larger chance of succeeding.We Need to orginize, such as on this web site. Each basic subject should be broken down so people can get in line behind a subject they are more passionate about, this will build our resistance to the on slaught.People working in a more orginized manner will help us put the blind down so each group can handle it. As we are now we are blinded by the light!

Listen, over 50 million of us voted for the Republican Party. Most of us did so because of Palin and her traditional values!

Listen the people who changed sides and voted Obama were mad at the Republican Party for screwing up (not following conservative values) and wanted “change”.

Listen stop coming up with candidates who are as corrupt as the Democratic party and will pander to each special interest group.

Listen, explain that we don’t see minorities as a color and they shouldn’t waste time punishing the Republican Party for things the Democrats claim we did. Even though we were the ones who made the push for civil rights, were part of the north’s fight to end slavery, and were those who put all men created equal in the constitution!

Listen stop trying to give away more than the Democratic Party! Show that we want to save money just like the average citizens!
